What the Week Actually Looked Like
Arrival & Logistics
We arrived to the transport grounds and was met by our porter who helped us unload our gear and transfer to the ferry that we would be taking to our cabin on the other side of the lake. (there are no roads and is too far to walk or hike carrying fishing gear and food for a full weeks stay).
The Guides & Programming
We chose the go alone adventure meaning all we had help with was keeping our boats maintained and kerosene for the generator the rest was up to us. Helps you get the sense of ruggedness.
Lodging & Comfort
We stayed in an actual log cabin. No tv, no wi-fi, no internet. It was great to feel unplugged. We got settled in fairly quick and easy.
Food & Extras
