Gideon Collection Review: Is Aura Restored's Premium Edit Worth It?

What Is the Gideon Collection?

The Gideon Collection is Aura Restored's premium tier — a curated line spanning fine jewelry, watches, sunglasses, fragrance, and elevated lifestyle pieces like alpaca socks and plush accessories. It sits above Aura Restored's everyday catalog as the brand's "hand-selected" edit, aimed at shoppers who want a more refined, gift-worthy purchase without hunting through a massive general marketplace.

Pieces I looked at for this review include:  the O/Z Steel Sport Watch, the lab-grown diamond stud earrings, the Leopard Plush Backpack, etc.

Everything I touched felt like I was wearing luxury and I half expected a valet to pull up to me and tell me the yacht was ready. That is how exclusive I felt. While it is something I would be nervous to wear daily the people that can afford it wouldn't feel out of place at all wearing or using any of these products any where. 

Pricing: Is It Worth the Cost?

Gideon Collection pricing spans a wide range — smaller items like fragrance mists sit around $130, while statement pieces like the lab-grown diamond stud earrings run into the $1,800–$2,600 range. You can't tell the difference between lab and mined minus the ethical implications. You can be stunning without contributing to crimes against humanity and spend a fraction of the price. 

The Part That Sets This Collection Apart: 15% Goes to Charity

Here's what actually pulled me in enough to write this review: 15% of every purchase across Aura Restored — including everything in the Gideon Collection — goes to nonprofit organizations. This isn't a blanket "we donate sometimes" claim. The cause is matched to what you're buying:

• Buy from an outdoor or wildlife-adjacent line (like items tied to RedQueen Resorts' whale-watching and conservation trips), and the donation flows to wildlife conservation groups.
• Buy children's items, and it supports children's causes.
• Buy from women's apparel, and it supports organizations serving survivors of domestic abuse.

That's a meaningfully different model than a flat corporate-giving line item — it means the purchase category and the cause it funds are actually connected, which is rare to see done this specifically. You can tell they have some involvement with Majestic Legacy Inc. A nationwide community chest that sells merchandise and uniforms directly through Aura Restored.

Who Should (and Shouldn't) Buy the Gideon Collection

Good fit if you:

• Want a gift that has both a luxury feel and a documented charitable component
• Prefer buying fewer, more considered pieces over frequent low-cost purchases

Maybe skip if you:

• Are shopping strictly on a budget — this is a premium tier, priced accordingly
